BioHi, my name is Brigitte. I am on the shady side of 40 and I have two grown up children, Tania (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

My partner doesn't like me saying I am almost 50. Probably because he is nearing the shady side of 50 himself. He maintains that 'growing old has fur on it'. I don't really mind growing old so far. Growing older happens to us all, and I believe we're lucky if we make it to old age and are still in possession of most of our marbles. Having said that, I cannot claim that I still have all my marbles. I do however believe myself to be pleasantly mad. If ever I go insane, I won't care, because to be truly insane means that you don't know it, so why worry?
